Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga where postures are mainly practiced seated or lying down. Poses are held for a long period of time. Many enjoy yin yoga for a deep stretch and recovery.

Diana Bruce (RYT-200) began practicing yoga in the late 1990s, but has memories of going to outdoor yoga classes a a kid with her mom in the 1970s. While yoga kept Diana grounded through pregnancy and beyond, she set it aside, and only returned to a regular practice in recent years. Diana finds yoga essential to getting out of her head and keeping her body ache-free. Diana is passionate about making our world more welcoming and inclusive of the diversity of people, and approaches yoga in the same way. Trained in accessible and trauma-informed yoga, Diana prioritizes accessibility for different types of bodies. When not on her mat, Diana spends time with friends and family, and consults with schools and organizations on empathy-driven, policy and program development at the intersection of health and education equity.
